For years the elephant has been known as a sacred animal in the East. As the largest animal to walk the Earth, the elephant is known as a symbol of strength and power. It also represents perseverance, in that it is an extremely hard working animal. Elephants are also seen as symbols of wisdom and dignity, because of their incredible intelligence and very long life span. It is believed that an elephants trunk being raised up is a symbol of good luck, fortune, and optimism.The elephants were cast using the ancient methods of lost-wax casting and stained with brown patina finish for preservation. They are mounted upon a black variegated marble base with the artist Bugatti signature.

Fast delivery within some days to Europe (Germany), UPS has collected the custom fees of about 45$. The quality of the statue ist very good, except a sharp edge on the labia. This shows that it is a copy of the originals. However, since meanwhile anywhere in the world the original is available (there are only some photos where the labia are looking more naturally), I am completely satisfied.
