Lovers embrace passionately on the edge of a rock on the beach. Completely enveloped in each other’s arms, these two cannot be separated even by the cruelest of fates. The woman drapes her leg over his and rests her other foot on his, craving to be closer. She wraps her arm around his neck and pulls him into her kiss. The careful details are in the kiss. You can see where their lips meet and never part. A sheet gathers to the side of their nude bodies and she leans back slightly on it. 100% bronze and handmade, this sculpture was cast using the “Lost Wax Method”. The hand-sized kissing duo are in a brown patina and mounted on a marble base and is signed Rodin.
