This statue depicts Zeus, the god of sky and thunder in Greek Mythology. He was considered to be the father of gods and men. He was the ruler of the Olympians. He is the symbol of great power and strength. The great god sits high on the peak of a mountain. His eagle perches on his shoulder, while tethered to a chain that is cuffed to Zeus` wrist. Nymphs crawl out of the raging ocean and scale the rocky hill to be near him. He eclipses them in size, a testament to his greatness and immortality. 100% bronze and handmade, this brown patina sculpture was cast using the "Lost Wax Method" and mounted on a marble base and is signed A. Moreau.
