This classical maiden stands in an upright position, cradling an empty vase at her side with one hand, holding the bottom of her dress of the ground with her other. With her eyes staring straight, she gives off strength and confidence. As a smile creeps across her face it almost appears as if she may be flirting with you. She wears a flower in her hair to match the floral pattern embroidered on her long dress. This brown patina was cast using the "lost wax method." She is mounted upon a black marble base and is signed Jean Patoue.
