Apollo was the god of the sun and light, culture and civilisation, disease and healing, prophecy and oracles, music and poetry. His most common attributes are the lyre and the laurel wreath, reminding us of his pursuit of the nymph Daphne and her subsequent metamorphosis into a laurel tree. This bust cast for us, in Spain, using the traditional `lost wax` method. As nothing is mass-produced, there will inevitably be slight variations in patination and colouring. Each piece is, therefore, unique. Also, please allow for variations of a slight color differences, He is mounted on a marble base and signed by artist Giancarlo.
