This adorable piece is an exquisitely detailed sculpture that will add grace and beauty to your business or home signed Ernst Seger. Ernst Seger attended in 1884 the sculpture class at the Art School in Breslau under Robert Hartel and Christian Behrens. From the late 1880s, he first received major commissions for monuments. After his participation in the studio of Auguste Rodin between 1893/94 in Paris, he had his own studio in Berlin. In 1895 he created a Kaiser-Wilhelm-monument in Glatz. In 1900 he gravitated towards Art Nouveau-Sculptures, mainly female nudes, and the popular genre.
