The bronze beautiful acrobat stands in a peculiar yet coordinated position. She exhibits her balance on tiptoes; her torso juts forward, her eyes stare out in concentrated harmony as her head tilts far back giving her an overall S-shaped composition. Her left arms balances a ball as a long fabric sash falls and twines around her enhancing her performance of equilibrium and agility. She was molded using the archaic lost-wax technique and stained with a brown patina a finish. She is poised upon a bronze plinth atop a black marble base with the artist Milo's signature. The artist Milo lived most of his childhood in Andalusia, Spain. Influenced by an artistic family background, he began sculpting at the age of seventeen. After apprenticing with several accomplished sculptors both in America and Spain, he began his own work focusing equally on steel and bronze.
