The bronze acrobat stands in a peculiar yet coordinated position, embodying grace and balance. She exhibits her balance on tiptoes, with her torso jutting forward and her eyes staring out in concentrated harmony. Her head tilts far back, giving her an overall S-shaped composition. Her left arm balances a ball, while a long fabric sash falls and twines around her, enhancing her performance of equilibrium and agility. This sculpture captures the essence of an acrobat's skill and poise. Molded using the archaic lost-wax technique and stained with a brown patina finish, the acrobat exudes a timeless elegance. She is poised upon a bronze plinth atop a black marble base, creating a striking contrast that emphasizes her form and movement. The artist Milo's signature is engraved on the base, signifying the authenticity and artistic merit of the piece. The combination of materials and craftsmanship makes this sculpture a captivating addition to any collection. Milo, the artist behind this beautiful piece, spent most of his childhood in Andalusia, Spain. Influenced by an artistic family background, he began sculpting at the age of seventeen. After apprenticing with several accomplished sculptors in both America and Spain, he started his own work, focusing equally on steel and bronze. His dedication to his craft is evident in this exquisite sculpture, which showcases his talent for capturing the human form in dynamic and graceful poses.
