The hawk, perched above the clouds on the rocks of a cliff, stares out with it`s keen eyes at the earth below. The fine details of the feathers are absolutely exquisite showcasing the artist`s craftsmanship. In representation to humanity, the hawk is called a messenger, protector and visionary. The hawk indicates the awakening of your soul`s purpose. The hawk also stands for a symbol of nobility, recollection, cleansing, messenger, observer, solar, clarity, discrimination, inspiration, and the soul. The 100% bronze handmade sculpture was captured using the ancient method of lost-wax casting and stained with a brown patina finish for conservation. The hawk is mounted upon a black marble base with the artist Barye`s signature.
