This pose of a serene maiden sitting with downcast eyes conveys that of a deep longing and a heavy heart. She sits on a pillar surrounded by fruit which had harvested with the use of her long dress, which is beginning to slip of her soft frame. This brown patina was cast using the "lost wax method." She is mounted on a black marble base and is signed Milo.

Fast delivery within some days to Europe (Germany), UPS has collected the custom fees of about 45$. The quality of the statue ist very good, except a sharp edge on the labia. This shows that it is a copy of the originals. However, since meanwhile anywhere in the world the original is available (there are only some photos where the labia are looking more naturally), I am completely satisfied.
