This is brilliant reproduction by the famous French sculpture D.H Chiparus featuring two Russian tambourine dancers. His sculptures are remarkable for their bright and outstanding decorative effect. Dancers of the Russian Ballet, French theater, and early motion pictures were among his more notable subjects and were typified by a long, slender, stylized appearance. His work was influenced by an interest in Egypt, after Pharaoh Tutankhamen`s tomb was excavated. This upbeat bronze sculpture rests on a black marble base, signed by artist, and would be a cheerful edition to any room.

Solid Bronze Sculpture of a Bull Marble Base Abstract Art Deco Figurine Figure

The statue arrived with broken rod, cracked marble base. And broken rope. I was able to glue the rod and the rope. I disputed the charge with my credit card until the problem with the cracked base is resolved. Mr. Yan asserted tha he will ship a new base. So far I have not received any update. I’m not a happy customer because the statue had been damaged before it was shipped.
