German bronze figure modeled as the mythological warrior Achilles, dressed in Hoplite uniform including helmet, by J. Gotz (Johannes Gotz, German, 1865-1934), The bronze handmade sculpture was cast using the ancient method of lost-wax casting and stained with a brown patina finish for preservation. It is mounted upon a black variegated marble base with the artist J. Gotz signature.

Solid Bronze Sculpture of a Bull Marble Base Abstract Art Deco Figurine Figure

The statue arrived with broken rod, cracked marble base. And broken rope. I was able to glue the rod and the rope. I disputed the charge with my credit card until the problem with the cracked base is resolved. Mr. Yan asserted tha he will ship a new base. So far I have not received any update. I’m not a happy customer because the statue had been damaged before it was shipped.
