A farmer's loyal wife aides him in the fields. They tend to their crops during harvest season. He pauses briefly, as she rushes over to him to offer him something to eat. She hops up on the side of his plough and talks sweetly to him. He gazes up at her loving face and smiles. He only wears a cloth around his waist, finding it too hot to wear much else. His body is well-toned from hours of hard work. She wears a flowing a house dress, that hangs off her shoulder. 100% bronze and handmade, this brown patina sculpture was cast using the "Lost Wax Method" and mounted on a marble base and is signed C.Belleuse.
