The beholder has come across a liberated maiden who has ventured through a field escaping to a sense of purity. She hikes up and down the forest, gracefully with both arms at her sides she steps out of the long grass and thicket, barefooted and free. Her long, wavy hair crowned with blossoms, flows unruly around her in complete obedience to the changing winds. Her eyes clothes enduring the smell of nature as she passes through she imagines how lovely it would be to live there. The sculpture is entirely of brown patina and molded through the ancient methods of lost-wax casting granting impeccable detail as seen on the dress and the flowers hugging her hips. This free-spirited woman walks in liberty atop a circular black marble base signed by artist Aldo Vitaleh.
