This creative sculpture by D.H. Chiparus depicts a stylish dancer. In a Chiparus fashion the sculpture reflects influences from Russian and French dance. The body of the woman has a multi color patina giving it a wonderful beigecolor. The dancer poses with flair and confidence. A scaled serpent rests by her elevated foot on the ground. This sculpture stands high on a black marble base. It was crafted using the lost wax method. It is signed by the artist D.H. Chiparus.
