The cherubic angel seems to have just landed from great heights among the ruins of an old enchanted garden. He holds himself steady from the fall to earth against a forgotten water jug. His wings begin to flutter shut as his eyes begin to assimilate and search for the divine purpose of his journey. On the lip of the jug perches a dove who followed the angel from the open skies. This 100% handmade bronze sculpture was captured using the archaic method of lost-wax casting and stained with a brown patina finish for perpetuation. He is mounted upon a variegated black marble base with the artist A. Moreau's signature.
