“Venus de Milo” highly acclaimed sculpture. The story behind this popular piece is that it was created in 150 B.C. and discovered in 1820. The original piece had two arms. Now, this distinct difference is the sculptures defining attribute. The woman stands half-nude with her garments draped over her lower body. Her abdomen is defined and chest is bare. Owning this piece will allow you to own a piece of art history. The original is housed at the Louvre in Paris. This bronze sculpture was created using the lost wax method. It stands on a black marble base and is signed Milo.
