Cathedral Praying lady by Jean Patoue. He was born in 1840 and is thought to be one of the greatest sculptors since Michaelangelo. His style is both classic and romantic and robust. The piece sits on an black marble base and is polished and made of bronze in the lost wax method. The French sculptor painter was born 1840 in Paris. He died in 1917. He is considered to be the founder of the impressionist style in the art of sculpture.
