The lithe dancer balances on one leg in a graceful pose. Her other leg bends in a posse, her arms extend in a T to the side. Her long skirt raises with her leg. Studs adorn the entire costume. Taking influence from Russian and French artists, Mirval creates these wonderful sculptures of female dancers in traditional costumes. The sculpture was crafted using the lost wax method. It rests on a black marble base. It is signed Chiparus.
