Running through a field this maiden spots her lover returned from battle, which motivates her to run even harder yet still maintaining her grace. In her short fitted dress and flower hairpiece, it`s impossible not to be captivated by her beauty. This design helps give depth perception to the dress as it flows to her knees. Although this maiden has run quite a distance barefoot, she displays an expression of happiness and serenity.This sculpture itself is captivating for the viewer because it represents one of our greatest values, love. This sculpture is handmade and 100% bronze and was cast using the "Lost Wax Method," has a brown patina, and sits on a marble base. It was signed by Milo.
