A seasoned cowboy courageously rides his wild horse. He is bucked by his uncontrollable stallion but his grip on the reins never break. His body rolls with every move of the horse. He is dressed in a shirt,chaps and boots.The horse`s saddle stays secure as he kicks leaps. Though the cowboy continues to hold onto the reins, the horse fights. The horse stands on his hind legs and kicks. The cowboy wraps the rope around his forearm and grabs a clump of the horse`s` mane so he won`t fall of the back. It is a battle of the wills, but either way this cowboy is not giving up. 100% bronze and handmade, this brown patina sculpture was cast using the "Lost Wax Method" and mounted on a black marble base and is signed Fredrick Remington Frederic Sackrider Remington (October 4, 1861 – December 26, 1909) was an American painter,illustrator, sculptor and writer. He specialized in depictions of the old American West, concentrating on the last quarter of the 19th century American West. Many of his sculptures depicted cowboys, Native Americans and the U.S. Cavalry.
