This bronze sculpture of the female twins stands for the Gemini zodiac dual sign. Geminin's are curious, versatile, talkative with mental alacrity but being a dual sign has both an up and a down-side. Geminins have a very analytical mind seeing both sides of the image. Geminin's may like two things which may be opposite to each other. This is a sign ruled by the planet Mercury the fleet-footed messenger of the gods and is considered the Child of the Zodiac portraying youthful vitality and an ardent curiosity for life. The Twins are seen in a graceful dance in the cosmos. Side to side and back to back of each other they mirror each others dance moves in synchrony but stare out at different directions. They were cast using the age-old method of lost-wax casting and stained with a brown patina finish for preservation.
